If you feel you may be disciplined at work, make sure to read your Weingarten Rights to your manager to request a Union representative:
"I BELIEVE THIS DISCUSSION COULD LEAD TO MY BEING DISCIPLINED. I THEREFORE REQUEST THAT MY UNION REPRESENTATIVE BE PRESENT TO ASSIST ME AT THE MEETING. I FURTHER REQUEST REASONABLE TIME TO CONSULT WITH MY UNION REPRESENTATIVE REGARDING THE SUBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE MEETING. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS A CONTINUING REQUEST; WITHOUT REPRESENTATION, I SHALL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE DISCUSSION. I SHALL NOT CONSENT TO ANY SEARCHES OR TESTS AFFECTING MY PERSON, PROPERTY, OR EFFECTS WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING WITH MY UNION REPRESENTATIVES."
Your Weingarten Rights are also located on the back on your quarterly Local 1220 membership cards.

Flex Plan and 401(k) Plan member service support can be reached at 323-993-8888 on Mondays thru Fridays between 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. CST.
Nearly all of Local 1220's non-staff members receive contributions from their employer(s) towards the Entertainment Industry Flex Plan and/or the 401(k) Plan.
With Flex Plan medical contributions, you can choose to either purchase health insurance through the Flex Plan itself or you can use your funds for eligible reimbursements if you are covered by a group insurance plan elsewhere. See the Flex Plan website for more information.
If you have funds in the Flex Plan, you still need to open enroll every December. If you do not want to enroll in medical coverage for the following year, you must decline coverage thru open enrollment.
Also, make sure to provide and update your beneficiary form for the 401(k) Plan to avoid future headaches.
